I always loved coming here during the Murmurs meetings at Athfest.

Shit! One less reason to go to Athens. Do you remember the cakes they had? A whole case of deliciousness. I have their cookbook, but it never tastes the same plus you have to make it. Is the Bluebird still going?

Sad. Back in the day, I wanted to join the gatherings, but was limited by a Sri Lankan passport (which made travel so difficult), and the cost of course! A visit to Athens one day remains in my bucket list!

I enjoyed the food but during my last visit to the Grit there were large cockroaches crawling around on the floor underneath our table. Not the most appetizing sight to see while attempting to enjoy breakfast.
