Haha also made me smile I mean just look at Mr Tambourine Man’s white trousers!
I know this song, had no idea it was a parody!
What about John Fred’s stripy high waist trousers? They look like they want to get at his nipples, but that darn belt is stopping it.I can imagine Millsy in that outfit, love beads and all.
On a different plane, Jake Bugg performing Rabbit Hole. He blows me away.
Looks like a kid, writes and sings like an old hero back from the war.
Heard this song on a TV show. (It was much more interesting than the show…) Decided to check out the album it was from and I really like it. Highly recommended. They have another two albums which I haven’t listened to yet, but I will…
I’m happy to hear Sierra Ferrell has a new album out!
Some of you may not know this, but I’m American. Grew up in NYC. Moved to London in 1983 so have lived abroad longer than in the US. I was in London when 9/11 happened and it completely trashed me. My son found me sat in front of the tv, catatonic watching the towers and the planes on a loop for hours. I was genuinely traumatised. Couldn’t cry about ANYTHING for 18 months after. The current crisis in the Middle East is bringing back all the pain and panic. With The Rising album, Bruce Springsteen helped me deal with grief and fear. That album addresses 9/11 directly. This is a live performance of Bruce doing Worlds Apart live in Spain. Heartfelt and hopefully healing.
Part 2 of songs from The Rising about 9/11. This song is titled Paradise and doesn’t pull any punches about terrorism and war.
Thank you to the Boss for all of his brilliant work. A true legend.
Gurinder Chadha’s film “Blinded by The Light” about a teenage boy from a Pakistani background living in Luton and obsessed with Bruce’s music is currently on BBCiplayer.
