An old post on the Steve Hoffman forums contends that:

Can anyone confirm if this is true–it would have been in the mid-2000s–and if so any idea what artwork was used? The above is pretty much the only reference I can find to it.

I remember downloading this, maybe 15 years ago, but don’t remember where from. I can’t imagine it was an official release, but I don’t know. Back then, most of the R.E.M. related stuff I downloaded came from an R.E.M. thread on a Morrissey forum, strangely enough. Or Murmurs.
