I’m glad for Christine McVie that she got a whole bunch of money before she died from selling her song rights, but I am seriously offended by Will Farrell singing a parody of “Everywhere” to promote, uh, whatever it is. Paypal? Maybe just don’t do that.

IIRC Stevie and Lindsey sold their song rights too. Isn’t there some other Fleetwood Mac song in a commercial? Oh, or is it Holiday Road or something? I dunno.

On the other hand Bill Clinton used “Don’t Stop” 32 years ago, so it’s not like Fleetwood Mac songs have been left alone until now. Just leave “Everywhere” alone!

There is an ad for Isuzu UTE/SUV’s using Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Go Your Own Way’, it’s a cover of the song, I don’t know covers it in the ad.

I remember a powerful ad from 1989, for the Transport Accident Commission Victoria, using R.E.M.'s ‘Éverybody Hurts.’ It’s quite tragic in the end. What can I say, stay safe & drive carefully.
